Guaranteed LTL rates are rates where the carrier will refund freight charges IF the service standard is not met. There are the following terms and conditions that must be followed. Please review them carefully. In cases where the shipment was not delivered as per the guaranteed delivery day, the carrier will offer a refund on the charges A claim must be submitted for service failure within 15 days of the delivery day or the refund will not be honored The proper information identifying the shipment as a guaranteed service shipment MUST be placed on the BOL along with the quote number. ExFreight’s Bill of lading will have all the information required. Guaranteed service does not guarantee the pick-up. If the carrier cannot make the pickup they will not honor the guarantee. The delivery address must be open and available for the delivery up to the guaranteed time on the delivery day. IF driver attempts delivery AND consignee is not available or there they will redeliver another day and NOT honor a service failure claim. Guaranteed service is not available for shipments requiring any additional accessorial. Guaranteed service is not applicable for any shipments with a single piece over 8ft in length Guaranteed service is not available on any volume/spot rated shipments. Guaranteed service is not available for any limited access/residential/ocean cfs/convention center/ grocery warehouse/ amazon FBA warehouse or any other delivery address that requires an additional charge in our accessorial fields. Guaranteed service is not available for Hazmat shipments Any shipments scheduled for pick up or delivery or transiting during any of the following holidays will automatically add an extra day of service to the guaranteed delivery day. Examples of observed holidays: New Years Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day In the event of failure carrier will not be responsible for any other damages or financial compensation other than a refund of freight charges. Force Majeure –Carrier will not honor guarantee in cases of acts if god, the authority of law, strikes, lockouts, casualties, adverse weather conditions, governmental action or regulation, acts of terror, or other beyond carriers control.
